    This is a vintage silk embroidered piano shawl or scarf. Piano shawls were originally used to cover pianos, but in addition to that, can be worn as a shawl, scarf, or used as a bed covering. This one is bright and beautiful. The embroidery looks identical on both sides. The piece measures approximately 46 inches each way, with hand knotted fringe, that measures approximately 19 inches on each of the 4 sides. This is a very unusual piece.
