Wooden Machacadora de Frijoles
- Wooden Bean Masher
Approximately:  14" x 2 1/4"
The bean masher is used to make refried beans. You press down on the beans in a
circular motion around the frying pan to give the beans a silky smooth texture.
The bean masher is also used when making mashed potatoes and sauerkraut as well.
To make really memorable refried beans,
sauté
white onion rings in some freshly rendered lard, bacon fat or olive oil.  Obviously lard is the best choice here but olive oil is perfectly delicious.  Just not authentic.  When the onions are soft, add some beans and their broth.  Allow to heat and then start running your Machacadora along the bottom of the skillet.  The bean, fat and onions will start to incorporate and you will start to salivate!  Keep going until you have the the texture you like.  Smooth as velvet or chunky and rustic-Whichever you
prefer
is Perfect!
This wooden
Machacadora
makes a great masher for making sauerkraut.  After you slice through the cabbage and add salt, most recipes, have you mash the mixture until the water starts to give.

Shipping Policy
You pay the actual shipping costs.  No additional costs are added to your shipping.  Shipping prices are determined by the weight of the package and the distance it has to travel from our store.
If multiply items are purchased separately, we will do our best to combine shipping and issue a shipping refund back to you. Requests for specific shipping additions ( i.e. next day, three day air, signature required) can be accommodated for an additional charge to the customer.  We normally ship via UPS, USPS or FedEx.  Due to the changing prices of the shipping costs we may occasionally change the shipping carrier other than that stated in the listing.  There is no signature required unless specified.
Shipping Damage
Any items received damaged due to shipping will be replaced or refunded. Please send pictures and keep box with all shipping materials.  Be sure to contact me within 24 hours
